Room sizes range from 700 sq. ft. to 5,500 sq. ft. The Venetian standard room is nearly two times larger than the standard Las Vegas hotel room of 350 - 375 sq. ft and was recently named the "largest standard hotel rooms" by the Guinness Book of World Records.
Guests of The Venetian enjoy spacious accommodations such as a plush private bed chamber with draped canopies, an oversized 130-square-foot bathroom finished in Italian marble, and a sunken living room area furnished with a convertible sofa, two upholstered chairs, a desk and a dining table. This is very well done. Coming back into the room at night with only the bedroom area lights on and chocolates on the pillow is very inviting and romantic. Be sure to get the bubble bath ready before you adjoin to the bedroom.
Yes you can check email but don't spend too much time on the computer if you plan to get anywhere with your sweetheart. A standard room has three telephones complete with data ports and a fax machine that doubles as a copier and computer printer.
In addition, the standard room features a safe, a fully stocked mini-bar and two 27" color televisions - one inside a bedroom armoire, the other located inside an entertainment center in the living room
